Drivers updating needed?

Do drivers need to be updated? even though
Everything is running good? will something get screwed up if I update, and its not needed? do I just click update driver, through the device manager? Is it only needed if there is a problem?

In most instances.. so long as everything is running fine you dont need to update your drivers.

Exceptions would be.. if your hardware manufacturer provided a new driver to improve performance.

Even then.. your taking a chance that the new driver will screw things up.
