For sum reason or another my scanner driver has gone and i went to install new device and i installed the wrong one there was 5 to chose from? How do i unistall that driver and then reinstall the right driver?? thanks>

Go to your divice manager, right click on scanner,select remove, reboot....it should load your driver on bootup. To get your divice manager up right click on My Computer and click properties. JIM

Yeh i unistalled the driver but i cant find where the SCANNER driver is?? will it be a .inf file?? and where can i find it? my scanner is a tiny USB flatbed scanner,i try and look for the driver in my windows file and on the cd but cant find it? on the cd theres no file for scanner theres a file called imaging i thought it was in there as there is a file called USB but it is a web cam i think?? How do i find it thru windows then?? n e help wud be appriacated..thanks

The easiest thing is to go to the scanner manufacturer's site and download the software and drivers for the scanner.

Do the drivers run out of date or sumfink?? becuss my modem went about 2 weeks ago now my scanner has?? wot has happened??

Not only has the driver gone? i think the actual scanner doesnt work cuss the light doesnt cum on? is there n e way to check if it works or not??

JIM If you follow my earlier instructions you don't have to access any files. In your divice manager you should see a listing 'Imaging Device'...Click the + and see if your scaner is listed there, it should be, and it would help if I knew the brand and model of your scanner. If you see any (!) or (?) yellow coloured marks in your device manager it means a problem with a probable driver. Let me know if you have anything like that, and tell me what the scanner is and we'll work from there. JIM as in jimbob;)
