Question 1.
Hi, does anyone know where can I download a latest/current driver for this DVD ROM? Using Win Me on P3/256 Ram/20G harddisk?

Question 2.
At the moment my PC is using drivers:

C:\Windows\System\WDMMDMLD.VXD
C:\Windows\System\SLWDMHLPSYS

If these two are drivers which are part of Win Me then why do I need to install a special driver for my QSI DvD Rom SDR-081?
I really don't understand...Can anyone please explain to a newbie...please.

yes still install the other driver!!! drivers that come with windows arent always the best!!!! install all the drivers that came on the cd with your dvd rom drive!

if you want new drives (why do you want latest drivers for a dvd drive???? vid cards are what matter) then search your brand name of dvd drive at www.google.com

so lets say the brand of dvd you got was "KwikDVD" and you had the "FORKAY101" model than you would search this in google....

KwikDVD FORKAY 101 drivers

or goto www.kwikdvd.com and then the drivers should be on there

hope that helped
