driver confusion

howdy. maybe you can help me? I have a vivitar 10&20 digital camera that worked great until yesterday when I hooked it up to my computer as usual to download some pics, and it usualy works great. but this time when I clicked on the aquire button to upload the pics I get this message>>there is a twain error, maybe the scanner is not connected??? there is no scanner on this cable, the only scanner I have is part of my lexmark X83 three in one. anyone have an idea why this would happen. the software is arcsoft/photo impression 3.0. any advice would be much apreciated...charlie :O)

Sorry Charlie (Funny). Well anyways, sounds like a real problem. You are using a scanner that requires TWAIN support. You should be able to rename the TWAIN file that is giving you problems. Please back up the file for I don''t know how effective this is. Good luck.

hello
disconect camera and retry it.look in device manager for errors.you may allso want to remove any soft ware programs that you installed from cd that useally comes with camera and reinstall it.allso make sure that camera is set to computer or what ever setting yours uses for loading to computer.
