drive integrity

I have an 30 gib. hard drive. i try to fdisk the drive but i can only get 18% drive integrity. what can be done?

Has that drive been in use before? It sounds like you need to try scandisk first to see if the drive has errors on it. Can it be set up as a slave drive to scandisk from a working operating system or can you copy scandisk to an a: floppy that is bootable so you can use scandisk.exe?

hello d/l m.e bootdisk and at the a:scandisk c: click enter. you might want to try a hardrive utility to check dive integerty and do low level format ect. click here
