Drive d is not found on my computer

i formatted my pc and put in the mainboard cd 242 it loaded up ok i went to install coulor setting on my pc and it started to work but failed a message saying i needed to reboot my pc i did this and when i tried to load it again drive d was not found i clicked on my computer it was not there

can any one help

i can taken the cd rom out and tried it in a different pc and it works fine

Hi Kevin,

You need more clarity and detail.

How many physical HDs and how are they partitioned?

Which drive WAS D: before it went away?


If at first you don't succeed, you're about average.

check your Bios to see if it is there,
Plus when you install win 98 , did you use a
boot disc with CD support ?
