if you download a programme thats already there or reload something thats already in your computer will it just overwright the previous programme or will it download along side the same programme. for example if i had yahoo messanger in my comp and someone downloaded it again without uninstalling the old one will i have 2 or will it overwright the first one thus saving space on my comp.............i know you can uninstall but id like to know this.........thanks in advance

as long as you choose the same installation directories (you probably did), then it will install over the top of the previous and you will only have 1 installation.
