Get Right runs great and have used it for about 6 months, also IE6, for some reason this keeps happening......
If I go to a site that I want to download something and open it I use IE6 to get the open option, Get right tells me to hold the Shift key down to download something with IE, otherwise GetRight is default, well every time I hold the Shift key down to download and open something it goofs up GetRight on the next download when downloading the next time Getright only downloads about 20 kb (which is just like the title of the program) but does not download the program? Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong.Last (2) times this happened I had to uninstall GetRight then Reinstall it again....anyother options. Oh forgot got a Kernal 32.dll error too no blue screen and everything is working fine except that, did do a ie repair, but still cant download with getright

I don't have an answer for you but Get Right is considered to be Spy Ware!

I had similar problems (not exactly the same)with two other download managers
-Download express and Freshdownload-
and I don't use any of them now.
I leave alone IE to download with his own
powers.

I purchased GetRight, this one does not have the spyware attached, I should have stated that, I don't use anything that is spyware, not even the spyware that is with ie, I delete the Alexa also, which is in the IE, but I know this has nothing to do with any spyware, that of course is one of the first things I check.

I use a download manager really for one purpose and that is for resuming, because I have one phone line I don't like to tie my line up for long periods of time, so its easy to resume with a download manager.

I think I found the problem about 6 months ago there was a update and I updated it, I never had that until I updated it, so I am going to try without the update and see if something else is going on, But it definetly has to do with Getright, because the IE6, is fine, nothing had to be corrected on it, and the reason I don't want to download a freeone is because I do not want any spyware and usually the free ones are or they are limited.
