I purchased recently from PC World a new Agfa Scanner. The model is 1212p.
As it had been used for display purposes, PC World seems to have lost
the User Guide and were unable to supply a copy with the machine. I tried to
download the User Guide from the Agfa site, http://www.agfa.com but it seems
to allow only viewing on line rather than downloading and saving to disk.
Please, can you tell me how to download the file to read it later? The User
Guide is in file USG_10057582.pdf but there seems to be no way of saving it
to disk. The full URL is http://support.agfa.com/documents/public/dtp/usg_10057582.pdfI downloaded the driver software, ScanWise, but when I try to install it, I
get an Error message: "Unable to find scanner data file; the setup cannot
continue". Again, your help will be gratefully appreciated.I look forward to your helpful reply in due course.

Use the Windows search command and search for that pdf file it may still be hidden on your hard drive....if not go to the site and view it again. Then search for it again. It will be there somewhere. Then copy it wherever you want.
