Operating System is Windows ME,256 of RAM,
Syst.Res.-80%,no Virus detected.I go thru th-
e procedure of Downloading and start Install-
ing Webshots.Com,a windows pops up stating
Corrup Installation Detected.I tried several
times and the window still appears.I went thru my whole system checking for Viruses.in-
fected files, folders and programs, there are none in my system.Tell me what's wrong or what I'm not doing? Or is there a solution?

What connection are you using? How long is download taking? Where are you saving the download to? Do you get any install dialog boxes? Does Corrupt dialog box say anything else?
I just downloaded the program and it worked fine for me. I am using Netscape and a cable connection.

Answers to your questions:I have a AOL Brow-
ser,dialup modem,Download is 4.5 mins.,Dialog
Box windows says corrupt installation detect-
ed and save in:C\windows\desktop\wbsamp.exe.
Everything seems to be right, could it be the
operating system I'm working in Windows Me or
should I get another operatinbg system like
Windows 98 SE.I never had trouble downloading
Webshots before,it's very fairly New System.
Built in June of 2000,HELP ME with this pro-
blem and I don't have alot of Programs.
Sincerely Charles

Do you have any sort of a download manager installed? If you do, uninstall it and try the download again.
Have you tried downloading from IE instead of the AOL browser? I get that a lot when folks use the AOL browser to download.
Try minimizing AOL and opening up IE. Then go to download.com or whereever you are getting webshots and download from there. You should get an "open it" or "save it" screen Once you click "save this program to disk, you will get a choice of where to save it. If you do not see these screens, something has taken over your downloads and is managing them. It may be that you need to uninstall this program because it is broken.
