I wish to go from Windows ME to Windows 98 SE but wondering whether or not there will be any errors or such when I have done that. Please respond as soon as possible. Thanks!

The only way to accomplish what you are trying to do is start from scratch.
ie: format c: and then fresh install of Win98

The computer errors will depend if you install 98 correctly and make sure your bios is set up for 98 if appliicable.
Goodluck.

Depending on the hardware you have you may need to get 98 drivers ready for everything from your mobo chipset to your VGA card. We have no way of telling if you'll get errors until you try. In most cases 98 will instal with it's generic drivers and you'll then be able to get online and update drivers for any devices that give you problems. I also recommend you download and save all the win98 updates from msoft to CD. then after instaling 98, go to the normal update site, scan your system. Take note of the required update numbers but instal them from your CD. Will save you from any partial download crashes during updates.
