I recently downloaded the .NET Framework 2 and successfully installed it on windows ME. I did this because I wanted to trial visual basic.net and c++.net and the download site said that I would need to install .NET framework first.
Then I tried to install VB.net and C++.net and the installer said that it cannot install on anything older than windows 2000.
What is the point of making the .NET framework installable on WinME if none of the Visual Studio Express software is installable on anything older than win2000? Are there any programs that can make use of it? Is there a different version of visual studios that I can get for WinME
