First of all I would like to thank those that helped me eliminate some Trojans residing in my Restore Archives yesterday. I used the Safe Mode for the first time to try and extract those virus' and now at every start up I get a black DOS screen with start-up options that wasn't there before I used the Safe Mode. Is there any way to eliminate this new step at start-up? Thanks for your help in advance. Stan

You could run msconfig, click on 'advanced' and untick 'Enable Startup Menu'. The more crap you put up with, the more crap you're going to get. --Dilbert rules of management
