Does VPN works with WinME?

Hope someone can help me here.

WinME
DSL with PPPoE
CISCO client

I'm using Cisco (Client Software) to get access to a VPN.

A network specialist I talk to says WinME does not support Cisco VPN Client is it true?

not sure about cisco,but it supports microsoft VPN.
