CMOS and BIOS are essentialy the same thing. CMOS is an acronymn for Complimentary Metal Oxide Semiconductor. It is the chip on the motherboard that contains the BIOS info. BIOS is an acronymn for Basic Input Output System and is the actual program that reside in the CMOS. You don't have the option of going from one to the other as one is hardware and one is the software built into the hardware.
