Sorry to state the obvious, but have you done a virus scan?
Maybe you need to clear out your TIF and cookies, this always works for me when I have problems with IE and also you could try a repair on IE too
If you need any further help, just shout!

Do an online scan, it is free......

If you don't have an AV, post back.... there are some good free ones.

Like Kim said, Sorry to state the obvious but... you might have to buy or download some antivirus program (which you should have on your computer anyway). Try going to the Symantec site and enter in the virus name. They might have manual directions on how to delete the virus.

Only when you are free of any viruses, should you get an AV prog. For now, get a free one and keep it updated while you weigh up the cost of buying one. AVG from...

www.grisoft.com

version 6 is free, 7 has to be paid for (I think).

Virus info....

I had the same problem and went into program files, then to the IE folder and clicked "IExplore". Internet Explorer then works. I then created a shortcut onto the desktop and deleted the one that doesn't work and it all worked again. I also suggest getting virus scan software just incase. Also do the free online virus scan with Housecall. Search on Google. Good Luck
