Well, my new pc can't play avi files correctly.
I downloaded the divx codec and it showed the picture. The problem is the audio playing faster than the video. I had the same problem on my other pc and people said it was video card. But I one time experiemented with an avi file and windows media player downloaded a codec to play it. Then the problem was solved. Can you recommend any information on my problem to grant the same miracle on my new pc.

Thanks,
Amy

Amy, SWAG, sounds like a driver issue to me. Check out the mfgr's site and see if there's another available.
