Well, my new pc can't play avi files correctly. I downloaded the divx codec and it showed the picture. The problem is the audio playing faster than the video. I had the same problem on my other pc and people said it was video card. But I one time experiemented with an avi file and windows media player downloaded a codec to play it. Then the problem was solved. Can you recommend any information on my problem to grant the same miracle on my new pc.

Summary: Well, I tried playing some vidoe clips i downloaded from the interent and it works okay. The problem is the sound is faster than the video display...or the video display is slower than the the sound....
Summary: I am having problems with the playback of certain files. AVI and other video files work fine, but when i play certain video files i hear a static in the background whenever there is any kind of noise...
