i am currently using windows millenium and my desktop icons are all distorted.. although all programs work well, i find it very annoying to see the icons all messed up. I ran the antivirus and found no viruses. I also tried to change the graphics properties but it didnt work either. finally i tried system restore and found out that it didnt do any good. please help me, i dont really want to reformat and lose everything on the computer

Danzel, Your problem interested me, because I've had this happen 6-times w/ "ME". The response you recv'd. is what I intend to do. Previously, I adjusted this-that w/ my PROVIEW CRT monitor, but it WAS A PAIN!!! Think you should follow the advice - & I'll do the same. G/L! DAVE

thanks for the help guys.. but i finally got to solve my problem.. because i was soo desperate to solve the problem.. i went to various websites.. i dont remember what the site was now.. but it helped me a lot.. what i did was quite simple.. i right clicked on the desktop, went to display properties. clicked on appearance. And theres a drop down menu for ITEM.. i changed it to Icon and i also changed SIZE to 32.. and it worked! I havent had a problem with it since.. You should try it david.. But thanks a lot for the other info.. happy valentines
