disable anti-virus to install printer

Ihave an CDS MICRO Computer 1000mhz processor and can't find out how to turn off my anti-virus to install my printer.

If you really cannot disable your antivirus program through its menu. I would use Start>Run>MSCONFIG>STARTUP and uncheck the antivirus program and restart. Install the printer. When it is installed go back and use the above steps and replace the check mark in the AV, and restart the computer again. All the best!

What Antivirus program do you have ? I thought all AV progs could easily be disabled from the progs screen. Probably from the OPTIONS tab.
Summary: eddie when you hit ctrl/alt/delete to end task a program, it won't shut down when you hit it again. if you just hit ctrl/alt/delete twice it will. I just disable anti virus to install programs.G...
