i have a game and i cant install it bucause i need directx8 and i have went to ma web sites and downloaded it and then tryed to install it but i keep getting the same message that directx did not copy required file. i cant find out which file that is eather.if you can help me i would be greatful thank you

I would suggest downloading it again from www.cnet.com and reinstall it.

If you've got it installed corrrectly - Run DxDiag, in x:\Windows\Program Files\DirectX\Setup
It should report any problem with the installed files.
