i recently was asked to download shockwave player and when trying to install the following messages appeared: DIRECTOR PLAYER ERROR..This app requires xtra (flash movie) that eith does not exist or failed to initalize properly. Please make sure appropriate xtras are in xtras folder. 2nd message: Shockwave movie has errors that have caused playback problems.. Please contact the author of this content regarding this problem. Shockwave unable to continue.
PLEASE HELP,, I don;t know what caused these problems... i don't know why i lost xtras and certainly need help recovering or making corrections.. shockwave player had always worked fine in the past, so i don't know what caused the change to my system that required me to reinstall shockwave player and was not able to due to above messages..
All assistance is greatly appreciated..

Tam

try another file to play with the same player. if problem is repeated, try uninstalling and re-installing shock wave player.
