Comment:
Computer boots up to the Password Screen. This is not the normal Windows / Network Password Screen as I know it,( Landscape Format with the two Boxes showing, one for user Name and the other one for Password).
Below OK and CANCEL.
No, this one is square with the Windows Logo
on Top and also the two Boxes for User Name and Password.Below OK and CANCEL. Here is the Mystery. The User Name is filled in and I leave the Password blank and click CANCEL.
The Computer boots to the Desktop. So far so good! I restart the Computer, but this time I click on OK and the Computer boots to the Desktop, but Surprise it is a different Desktop! By clicking on "CANCEL" on then START > Programs, there are no Programs showing, while in the "OK" Mode there are all the Programs showing. What is going on??

langener, SWAG, sounds to me like you need to take a look at your user profile and make sure you aren't being logged on as a user with nothing specified.
