Deleting Restore\Archive Files??

I've discovered that nearly half my hard disc space is occupied by *.CAB files in the C:_RESTORE\ARCHIVE folder. I am unable to delete any of them. I can access the files, but cannot even find the folder by accessing through "my computer". What are these? Can I or should I delete them, and if so, how? Thanks in advance. Larry

Everything in the _restore folder is for restore points for windows ME. If you do not want to use the restore feature disable it and delete the _restore folder from DOS.

Right click on the \"my computer" icon and click properties. Go to the performance tab then click the file system button at the bottom. You can control how much space you want to use for restore points Its defult in 2GB. Remember to defrag the hard drive after.
