deleting printers

When I go to settings, control panel, printers and try to delete any of the printers, local or networked, the printer facility hangs then terminates back to ME. I thought it might be because the networked printers aren't there anymore, but I should be able to delete them anyway, right? If I right click on any of the printers, again the printer folder/facility freezes for a while then blows me back to ME. If I highlight the icon for the printer in the settings/printers folder then go up to file, freezola then to ME. Any suggestions?

HI,,Are these entries that are left over from network printers that have been deleted or no longer used? You may have to go into Network and disable the share printer option before you are able to delete them.
