can I delete my hard drive without a restore disk to install a new program, I want to delete mac os 9 and install mac 10.3, but I don't have the restore disk, and I tried the driver utility but everything is grayed out. can this be done. help

You stated your OS is XP, and you're asking a MAC question in the Windows ME Forum.

If all you want to do is wipe clean your hard drive, just use a boot disk to delete the partition, re-create a partition, and format it! I don't know, however, if you can use a Mac restore disk on a clean partition.
