Does the same thing happen when you are not online? That's to say can you delete offline content when there are no browser windows open? There are other ways of removing your history files and cached information, loads of software packages available to do this...

wawadave I have been reading and working on doing the Windows Me. I have not done it all at once, I have just took my time as I am not a profieceint with computers as you are. I have kept notes and made sure what I did didn't make a mess. My next question is this, I go to a lot of embroidery sites to download embroidery software for my computer. Some of them seem to be putting things on my my computer to track what I am doing or to track how many times I go to their site. I am using Ad-aware to get rid of them. Is this program OK? I sell on ebay and I don't need a mess on my computer.
