While deleting useless files to free up some drive space I came across several folders labeled "Cache". One of these folders has over 3000 files. The files date back to 2002 and none later than 2003.
Would it be safe to delete anything in a cache folder?

I see some cache folders in windows/application data/sun/java yet nothing with that many files.
Probably left over from an uninstalled program. If worried, copy the folders to CD-ROM or another drive before delete.
