my c: drive will not defrag, gives me an error mesage, but I have no problem defraging my d and e partitions. help?

thats because somethings still runng in drive c:
try it from safe mode or d/l endit all and use that.

Something still running, yeah. What i normally do is press etrl alt del then close absolutely everything there, except for explorer of course. Even close the systray. Then go to defrag and try now, it should work! If not well then i dont know, but noramlly works for me!
