I think I am going to need to post this message daily since people do not want to scroll down a little ways and see the 100's of replies to this problem.

Problem: Jimmi in Seattle Washington writes: "Scandisk and Defrag will only go about 10% and then restart and then it fails after the tenth attempt. What in the name that is holy can I do?.. (Sob)"

Answer: Well Jimmi I am so glad you asked. First, shut down your screen saver etc. Second,Get and Run "ENDITALL2" Yes folks EndItAll!!! What is EndItAll you ask? Why it is this little program that will stop all tasks that are not necessary and allow Scandisk and Defrag to run normally. "WOW!!!" You say. "But that has to cost thousands of Dollars!" Why no. It is absolutely Free!!! Yes you heard me right. FREE!! Costs you just the time it takes for you to download. "Well I bet a huge monstrosity of a program." Wrong again Jimmie. It is only a tiny little application. Takes hardly any room at all.

So get yours today, you will be happier, your computer will be happier, and we all will be happier.

ENDITALL.... Never leave your computer without it.

Can be found here at http://home.ptd.net/~don5408/toolbox/enditall/
and at other fine Freeware sites.

Sue,

You can get enditall 2 at pcmag.com or just do a google search for it.

Enditall 2 will let you see what is running in the backgrown, but either one will do the job for you. Hope this helps.

I do not have a Defrag or Scandisk problem, I just want to be able to end it all when installing programs when it says close all programs..Don't know why people have problems Defragging and Scandisk, I never have and it is fast except I always do close anything that has been running by ctrl-alt-del, but if you can do it in one step this is even better. Ok I need help on this one.
I tried to defrag my PC and came up with repeats over and over I looked into it and it showed me the black square dots were to be on the end of run time.

I wonder why and how did they get there and I did do a defrag a while ago and never had this problem.

So can you help me and let me know how to overcome this problem.

Kind Regards
Mike
