Defrag. Problem

When I defraged my drives yesterday i got an error that said that some program is writing on this drive, and then it told me to do a thorough scandisk. I did that and I went back to the defragment thing, and same message. Please tell me how i can fix this problem. Thank you

hello you might have pc health running in the back ground or ad-ware or trojin or virus. try running them from safe mode. or d/l a free program called enditall do the google to get it. you can get norton system works on ebay for under $20.00 usd. its a program called speed disk far superior to m.e defrag. and a free program called disk keeper lite. its allso got m.e defrag beet.
