Browers: IE 5.5

I recently doubled clicked on an e-mail address link and received the following Internet Explorer error message:
"could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not properly installed." Can someone offer a suggestion to correct this situation? Thanks.

Jennifer,
I currently receive all my E-mails through Juno.com. I looked in IE/tools/internet options/program tab and found Outlook Express listed as my e-mail client.

Is this Juno.com web-based or POP based email? Outlook Express will handle either, but if there are install problems, the easiest way I've found to get round it is to install a newer version like Outlook Express 6 which will upgrade all necessary files and dependencies (www.windowsupdate.com).

Then set up Outlook Express as your default mail client, set up your juno.com account and all should be well from there...

If you are having specific problems with Outlook Express, go to this site as it covers most problems and issues:

Let us know if this helps,

Mark
