I get booted out of any program that I'm running after a few minutes of use. Each time I get "Ddhelp has caused an error in Ddhelp will now close. I've tried doing research but haven't had any luck. I reformated my hard drive and I still get the same message.
I've tested most of my hardware and even replaced a few items to see if that would cure my problems. The error above is the most common, but there are other errors I get. Zonealarm has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL. Exploerer has caused an error in USER32.DLL.
I've been researching/reformating/replacing parts and I still have the same problem. Any suggestions???
Thanks for the help,
Kevin

ZoneAlarm is extremely unstable and consumes a lot of memory. I would recommend using Sygate Personal Firewall instead. It's also free for personal use, is stable, and doesn't take up a lot of memory.

You can download it from http://soho.sygate.com/products/shield_ov.htm.

This might solve the problem.

Also run a scan with Ad-Aware (you can download it at http://www.lavasoft.de).

I uninstalled ZoneAlarm and installed sygate. Ad-Aware I've been using for a few months. I had been using Zone and Ad-Aware for a while before all my problems. After my hard drive took a dump on me, I replaced it through my warrenty with Western D. Since them I've been having nothing but problems. I tested the replacement hard drive on my other computer and it works fine, so I've ruled out the drive being junk.
I'll try your suggestion on the firewall, but I don't think that is the cause because I was using Zone prior to my problems and it was working fine.
Thanks for the help.
