Ihave recently downloaded a 201MB Demo of Army Ops. The file finished downloading (so it said) but it still had the download number next to it(its supposed to change to the file name). Well this means it's not done downloading but I can't get IMesh to load my download. It is however supposed to be an ISO file so i was wondering if I could just burn it and open it. But I need to know if there is any kind of converter that will change it from a .dat file to an .exe file. Regards CPU.

I had this once with a Kazaa file. I copied it to another folder and left the original where it was, then renamed the copy extention to .mp3 and this opened OK. I expect a .jpg file to also work this way but I don't know what an ISO file is.... but it may be worth a try. Besure to leave the original where it is and that way you may be able to restart the download to finish it off if my suggestion does not work.

Good luck.

PS virus check the file before and after the change just to be sure.

Oh! and be sure to set a restore point incase the .exe turns out to be duff.
