DAP and ICQ failed installation/initiali

After download, the following error messages appear when I try to install or run the following programs: Download Accelerator Plus V. 5: Could not initialize installation. (CRC) The parameter is incorrect. ICQ 2000Beta version: ICQ Failed to Initialize the Communication Module. I have re-d/led them a few times... the same error messages come up and I have no idea what to do next. System: WinME IE 5.5 128RAM 56K Conexant HCF V90 Data Fax PCI Modem 993Hz (?) Pentium III I think that's it... anything else need to be known?

try to download from another site, like cnet, tucows or even icq site!
