Hi Cesar
In the BIOS, set all the IDE channels to AUTO. Pri Master = AUTO Pri Slave = AUTO Sec Master = AUTO Sec Slave = AUTO That should take care of the Atapi Incompatible message.
If you still cannot see your DVD and Burner in Windows, then go to Device Manager. Are there any yellow ! next to hard disk controllers ? If yes, have a look in the Registry.
1. Run REGEDIT and search for NOIDE 2. It will be here if you have it in your registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\SERVICES\VXD\IOS 3. Look on right hand screen for NOIDE and delete it, if you find it there
Good luck Krystyna
