hi, is there any way to customize drivers loading in windows ME safe mode. the reason i want to enable, is that my USB mouse, and PS/2 keyboard doesn't work at all in safe mode, but they work normally in "normal mode".

Hey ViGs,Janset had been wresting with this one for a lil' while herself.Scroll down the page to the "Is it possible to install USB drivers..." subject line.This is the second time she's tried to get an answer,and the only one anyone has come up,was wawadave's suggestion in that thread.But,I'm off to pose that question to some guru's,and see what I can come up with. I'll be back with an answer asap. thanx,thekid.

Ok ViGs,(and Janset),this is what I got;
"What you need to do is, enter your computer's bios and see if there is a setting to enable "legacy support for USB". It may also be listed as "assign IRQ to USB" depending on your bios. This may or may not work, or your keyboard may work in safe mode but not mouse. Mileage may vary."

Thanks The Kid. When my PC comes back from the shop, if it ever does, I will take a look into the BIOS, but the last time I fiddled in there I finished up with a total seizure, nothing worked. The Techie was not impressed. :) Regards PS. I am a HE not a SHE LOL.
