I read an article once that outlined the steps to create a custom (bootable) restore disc of my computer. It was something about get everything you want installed and get the drivers working, etc. but I don't remember what software to use or what to do after that. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

you need a program called drive image. it will copy an image of your c:drive to another partition of your choosing and compress it. if you ever have to reinstall windows you can format c: boot off a floppy and load drive image from a: it will restore your image file to c: and you're up and running again in ten minutes or so with every thing the way it was when you created the image.
