ok..solved that problem by using direct cd that is part of easy cd..but...i have a new problem now :-(
i have 2 smartmedia cards with the camera..one 2 mb and one 16mb.both are 3.3 volt.i can view the pictures i have taken ok through the camera`s playback mode..but can only get the smartmedia reader/writer to recognise the 16 mb card.when i try to upload from the 2mb card i am told to insert a card..very puzzled..have tried many times now and each time i can see the 10 or so photo`s that are on the 2mb card only through the camera.please help if u can.
thnx
tony

Try formatting the memory stick. You will lose all the data on the stick.I do it from my camera. Then take some more pics and see if it reads then.

Hi
If your camera can read it for playback your reader should be able to read it,try cleaning it.I got a 2mb one with my camera but threw it away, and invested in 32mb they are quite cheap now.also your camera must have an erase function on it to wipe it clean.
If you can,try what Robert said and try with new pictures. If it wont read them it must be faulty.
