I have made some email vids with my logitech cam. They come out as exe files, which are very large files. Is there a way of converting these files to another format, such as wmf, avi, etc. , so that they are not so large? I dont know if wmf, avi are the proper ones to use , so please excuse my ingnorance :) Any help would be appreciated, thanks .

hello vid files are big no matter what you do try zipping them it will help some. avi is a smaller file type than mpeg.but youed need a converter. try doing a google search for mpeg2avi you might allso try http://www.digital-digest.com have a nice day

Don't bother zipping them as most video formats are very compressed anyway. you won't see much more then a 1 or 2 % in file reduction. You can try the DIVX codec which is a really good compression sceme for reducing the file size. The Windows WMV format is also really good at reducing the file size while maintaining decent video quality.
