Converting .cda to .wav

When copying a cd in .cda format, will it end up on the cd-r as .wav? or .cda?
If not, is there any way to convert from .cda to .wav?

hello if you copy something with out changeing its format than you get a quote "copy"it will be the same. but to convert your cda to wave befor you burn them theres a free program i use called CDex and it will convert your cda,s to wave noproblem you can get it at http://www.download.com its allso a good cd ripping program hope this helps have a nice day
