Control Panel/Display problem

Subject: Control Panel/Display problem
OS: Win ME
CPU/Ram: AMD1.0\512
Comment:
I mistakenly set my Screen Area to 848x480 in Display Properties in the Control Panel. This has caused the Display Properties box to become longer than the screen size - can't minimize or resize this box - did move this box to top of screen but still chops off bottom. I can use my slider to change the setting to 1024x768 or higher but the setting won't stick - goes back to 848x480 because I can't OK\APPLY the setting which is hidden off my screen area. Same problem on my S3 adapter box trying to change font size (I can't get into a program online because it chops off the OK at bottom). I have: re-installed ME, downloaded updated driver for S3 adapter, installed new monitor - everything works fine except for this glitch. Any alternative ways to change screen area? Any solutions would be greatly appreciated - 4 days trying on this. Thanks

After moving the slider try using the TAB key and hitting enter.

Try diferent amounts of TAB's till you get it right from the slider to the OK.
