I have got a big problem when I open my control panel in Windows ME it comes up blank. I have not icons at all, but at the bottom on screen it says 38 Objects so I know they are still there.

This is a mabey answer but do you have a program such as tweak ui or tweek all, Xteq X-set up etc. these type of programs usually have an option to hide icons in your control panel.

I had the same problem once. It has something to do with how the "folder options" are set, I think. When I get on my ME computer at home I'll double check how my settings are now and how they were back when I had that problem. I'm at work now.
