Hi, I have a 19" NEC multisync monitor. I would like to play my Gamecube on my monitor, and I've seen VGA boxes on the web that claim to do this (convert a composite or s-video signal to vga). I'm wondering if anybody has tried this? Does my PC have to be running? Will there be high quality? Any comments welcome!

Your PC doesnt have to be on. The adaptor will change the s-vid signal to vga and you will connect it directly to the monitor. Cant comment on quality but i would imagine it depends on the game cube and your monitor.
