wag729, seems to me that all you need is the fax related driver (mfgrs. website?). Once you install the fax, your PC will give you a choice of which printer needs to be the default and then it'll work when chosen. HTH. Ed in Texas.

If you have one phone line coming in to the back of pc and out to phone-fax mach. can you still send/receive fax and be on the internet and visa versa

wag729, so long as you just do one thing at a time, shouldn't be a problem. Trying to do more than one printer operation at a time will likely result in a confused machine with unpredictable results. Seems to me that you could be online and listening for an incoming fax at the same time so long as the fax is your default (can always be changed if you need the other). As far as sending goes, suspect your ability to surf will be disabled during the send operation (also while recieving, not bothered by listening). HTH. Ed in Texas.
