Is there a way to connect 2 pc's to use a single dsl modem without having to get a router? Someone on e-Bay is selling information on this. Using Windows Me.
I saw a guy selling boot disks on ebay for $5.00. I made mine for the cost of the floppy and a few seconds while windows wrote it.

As long as your 2 pc's are networked it shouldn't be a problem

There are easy ways to do that. I did it using a program named PPPSHAR (ask for in in yahoo) You need install PPPSHAR in the "gateway pc" which has the dsl modem, and follow some other instructions included in the pppshar help. Of course you must have both pc connected via Lan card (NIC) using a UTP cable configurated 1-3 2-6 wires. As a matter of fact I am using this configuration in my pc's Good luck
