computer won't start

CPU/Ram: 233 cyrix/192mb

when i turn on my computer, it acts like it's going to start up, but then all it does is beep, it beeps about every 5 seconds? help!

The beeps are error codes for the mobo. Below is a link to a thread that discussed this.

Usually, this is a simple short in the mobo. If you added anything or opened your pc case, something (a card or memory module) may not be seated properly.
