Hi my name is John and need help from somebody I cannot get my scanner to work and have a paper port scanner when I turned it on it says paperport has caused and error the error says in the rpcrt4.dll paperport will now close if you continue having this problem restart your computer and nothing happens I tried several things and had no luck I even downloaded the file rpctr4.dll and that did not work it tells me I need the win32 rpctr4.dll version the operating system that I am using on my computer is millennium Edition I have a Pentium 4 processor 3.2 gigahertz memory 512
any help I can get out there I would appreciate thanks John

jpepione, smells like a driver issue to me. See if the one you need is there or if there is another driver avalable for use at : http://www.drivershq.com/landingpage.asp?Affiliate=1001 That is the Computing Net site for drivers and the one you need is likely there. If not, check the manufacturers website and see if they offer another driver which is ME compatable. HTH. Ed in Texas.
