My computer will lock up (freeze) at least 10 times a day. I searched here and found some info on what to do if ME freezes, but that isn't helping. I notice that after I Ctrl-Alt-Del my computer will go to the start up page. If I click on the Explorer Icon, it does nothing. I have to do a re-start to get it back up and running. Could I have a bad Explorer? I don't want to uninstall and then re-install unless I know that's going to help. I do have the latest version of Explorer too.

Try Control Panel>Add Remove Programs. Click on Microsoft Internet Explorer then click Add/Remove. You should see the option to repair. Click this and see if the repair helps.

It works for me

I did the repair Internet Explorer, and it worked okay for about 2 hours, then the same thing. I'll try that SpyBot program.
