Comment:

When my computer freezes I get a blue screen with an error message

An error has occued
File name: VFAT(01) + ooooA36E
Error: OE:0028:C0049E5E

and then when I pressed enter to continue I get:

Error: OD:0246:015F47FB

and then when I enter again some other error messages until it goes back to windows and either just freezes or is still usuable for a bit until a reboot is needed.

Sometimes it just freezes without an error message.

what could be wrong? my hard disk drive?...everything in this computer is brandnew and everything else is working fine but this....

I've already tried the "how to run Win ME properly" instructions...

Sounds like you need to update Windows ME.

Here is a Microsoft article that explains what's going on.
