clicking eh? Is it your hard drive clicking? Is it picked up in bios? When you say you have startup disk is that just a dos boot disk? Does the floppy, boot in to dos ok?

I don't know what you mean by is it picked up in bios you mean is my bios upgraded? I bought my computer in 2001. The start up disk I have I got on bootdisk.com and they are saying its an ME startup disk. Thank you for your feed back but I need more help!! terjocol

First it goes to Microsoft windows millenium starup menu 1. help 2. start w/cd rom support 3. start w/o cd rom support or
4. minimal boot and asks me to enter a choice

I have tried all 4 choices and it still goes to a blank screen.

Now I have tried f5 safe mode and I get to the msdos a:/ prompt

Now I am doing a bus scan and its complete prepare code page function complete

I have answered all questions as yes

Now I am preparing to start computer it says please wait

I am going through a whole crap load of questions diagnostic tools successfully loaded

I am in the blue help screen it says to press alt fx to exit I did now I have a black screen again but it didn't make the click noise and it stayed on for a much longer time than usual

My computer gets really hot so I am going to let it cool down and try again

I am going to try again in a liitle while do you have any feedback?

Anything is very appreciated

Thank you terjocol
